Become a qualified Support Worker in the Ageing, Home and Community and Disability sectors by completing your Certificate III in Individual Support.
By completing our National Recognised Training, you will be able to provide paid support to those who require it due to ageing, disability or some other reason in an Aged Care Facility or in a Home and Community setting.
With small class sizes, dedicated trainers and opportunities for employment through Vocational Placement, we ensure you are job ready.
This course requires you to complete a total of 17 units of study, made up of 7 Core and 10 Elective units.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Both formal and informal skills, knowledge and experience may be recognised as prior learning and could help you avoid training in areas you are already competent.

Individual support is available for students who face barriers to participating in accredited learning.
We have existing quality relationships with our local Facilities and Organisations which ensure our students are offered the best Work Placement opportunities possible.
We will arrange your Work Placement for you and do our best to place you with a Facility or Organisation close to home.
If you’re already working in the Industry, you can complete your Work Placement at your workplace if you choose.
Although Work Placement is unpaid, it provides fantastic work experience as well the confidence and contacts that will assist in gaining employment.
Your work shifts will be based on the standard shifts of the organisation you are placed. You may be expected to start as early as 6:00 am and work as late as 11:00 pm. Please consider your transport needs in relation to this.
