This unit prepares students with the skills and knowledge required to prepare for and provide medication assistance, and to complete medication documentation. It also involves supporting a client to self-administer medication.
Overview
The course takes 12 hours face-to-face plus workplace practical.
Participants will be issued a Statement of Attainment on successful completion

Delivered by a registered nurse, experienced in the Community Services sector.
Onsite or offsite
Part 1 – Face to face theory and practical simulation
Part 2 – Workplace practical skills assessment
